2. Purpose
   These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website and the conditions applicable to purchases made through the EPBS-Solutions online store, valid for consumers and businesses within the European Union.
   
   
3. Orders
   • The customer must accept these Terms in order to place an order.
   • EPBS-Solutions reserves the right to refuse orders with incorrect data or suspected fraudulent use.
   • The order confirmation sent constitutes contractual acceptance.
   
   
4. Prices, Shipping, and Payment
   • All prices are indicated in euros (€) and include VAT at the legal rate.
   • The shipping cost is presented to the customer before order finalization and depends on the destination country.
   • Payment can be made through the methods indicated on the online store. Orders are processed only after payment is received.
   
   
5. Delivery
   • Deliveries are made to countries within the European Union.
   • The indicated delivery times are estimates; delays caused by third parties (e.g., carriers) do not entitle the customer to compensation.
   • The risk passes to the consumer upon delivery.
   
   
6. Warranty and After-Sales Support
   Consumers (B2C):
   • Products sold to consumers are covered by the legal warranty of 3 years, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 84/2021, applicable in Portugal.
   Note: The minimum legal warranty period for consumers varies depending on the EU country, but it must comply with at least the national legal period of the destination country. As a rule, the 3-year period in Portugal is sufficient to meet European requirements (except in countries with longer periods, which are exceptions).

   Businesses (B2B):
   • For sales to businesses, the warranty under the Portuguese Civil Code applies, typically 6 months, unless a different period is contractually agreed.
   • EPBS-Solutions may voluntarily offer longer periods, which will be mentioned in the product or at the time of sale.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
   • The consumer has 14 consecutive days from the receipt of the item to withdraw from the contract without justification.
   • The right must be exercised by email or form, and the items must be returned in their original condition.
   • A refund will be made within 14 days after receipt of the goods or proof of return.
   Exclusions: Returns are not accepted for personalized products, opened consumables, or used items that cannot be resold.
   
   
8. Liability
   EPBS-Solutions is not responsible for:
   • Improper use of the products;
   • Damage resulting from mishandling by the customer;
   • Delays attributable to third parties (e.g., carriers).
   
   
9. Intellectual Property
   All content on the website (texts, images, logos, trademarks) is the property of EPBS-Solutions or its partners and is protected by legal rights.
   
   
10. Data Protection
    The use of this site implies acceptance of our Privacy Policy.
    The collection and processing of data comply with the GDPR and Portuguese data protection legislation.
    
    
11. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
    These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
    The consumer can resort to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Entity.
